2017 MAKEUP FAVOURITES

Being a makeup addict, it was hard for me to round up my yearly makeup favourites, but in today's post I will be showing you which products I have loved using and reached for the most this year!

The first favourite is my Naked Basics Palette. This is very basic and simple however, I do not like to wear too bright of a colour on an everyday basis, but also I am not really good at applying eyeshadow and creating all these amazing arty looks all the other beauty gurus can do! So, I just apply the brown shade (Faint) in my crease along with the cream shade (W.O.S) on my lid and it contours my eyelid well, giving it a simple elegant look.

I have loved this lip paint as I tend to reach for many nude toned lipsticks if you can't tell by my selfies already, tee hee. This is by L'oreal Paris and I did a review on it this year, which can be viewed by clicking here.

Brow, brows, brows: Still a trending thing this year to have those fleeky brows on huh? I have loved using this Brow Pomade by FREEDOM, they do some amazing dupes of high end makeup products, and this one is supposed to be just as good as Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade.

The next product I have reached out for a lot this year is a foundation! This one is the Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless foundation. I love this as it isn't too matte and drying on my skin, it leaves it with a slight dewy finish and looks amazing on camera too!

This mascara has been amazing: Maybelline Lash Sensational, gives me a full curled and false lash looking effect but very naturally. I love how I only need to apply two effortless coats of it and it does the job well, making me look awake and ready to face the day!

I am a huge glow getter and love to look like a walking light bulb as my mum says. This highlighter by Topshop which I have had for over a year now I think (oops has it expired? who cares, still works), is brilliant! Below I have inserted a photo of it with the flash off and on so you can see that glow it gives off.

My final makeup favourite of the year is this simple yet very effective lip liner from Primark. It is a lovely dark brown colour and compliments my lips well when I mix it together with a nude lipstick or any nude matte lip paint.
