We already live in such a negative society and world, full of hatred, war and many other bad things going on, so why not empower one another? Just give another girl a compliment, smile back at one another and just be nice in general. Let us leave behind being a mean girl, back in 2017! The little things we do in life do really count towards something. This might just be like a small thing to some people but honestly, being nice in society, especially within the girl community, has become something that is so rare to be seen nowadays. This is why I wanted to write this post and just address a few things.
I honestly do not seem to understand why is it so hard for some girls to just be nice to one another? Spreading love, positivism and kindness is so so important. You may not know what the other person will be going through, they may be having a bad day, and just by giving them that one compliment for example. 'girllll, your highlight is popping', 'I love your eyeshadow look', or ' I love your outfits you always wear such nice things.', could make their day ten times better!
Being jealous of other girls and then showing hatred towards them for it is a no go. Like seriously? Just because you think they are better than you or maybe look nicer in an outfit, that does not give you an excuse to pull faces and be harsh towards them. Instead why not just be a decent human being about it, and empower them just by giving a compliment and maybe even asking for tips! The same goes for when you are asked where something was bought from, some girls just try and steer away and don't even comment back. Whereas, whilst I was at the til one day at work, I noticed one of my customers had a lovely faux fur sleeved jumper on, so I decided to compliment her on it, in which she smiled in return and then thanked me, telling me it was from 'Zara'.
You are only going to ever get people to be fond of you and talk nice about you if you are nice back! Slut shaming, or judging another girl for any action they do such as wearing a revealing item of clothing? Why should it matter to you or anybody else? I am the type of person who would just be like 'YES GIRL, YOU DO YOU AND SLAY IN THAT', purely because it has absolutely nothing to do with me, and I love to empower other girls regardless of what they want to wear or how they want to do their makeup!
Just remember this,
WHEN WOMEN SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER, INCREDIBLE THINGS HAPPEN.
I hope you all enjoyed reading this brief ranting kind of post as it is something new for me. I am trying to get a lot more personal now on my blog as it is closely coming to my one year blog-versary, waheeey, how did I do it?!
Leave a lovely comment down below, what do you think of girl empowerment?
