A MOTHER LIKE NO OTHER

I want to dedicate this blogpost to my mum, who is a 'mother like no other'. Throughout all the things she has been through, up until now, she has still stuck by us no matter what. She is one of the strongest people I know and I aspire to be like her.

I want to be able to look back and say to myself, what would my mum have done in this situation? I want to be able to have that same strength and courage that she always has, and never give up, no matter what calamities may come my way. She has always taught me to have patience and that good will always come in the end.

I am starting to realise, you know what? Maybe she is right. Maybe there is always a good ending. Through the bad will eventually come good, there is always light at the end of a dark tunnel.

The older we get, the more we seem to forget that our parents are getting much older too, and we need to cherish these moments with them and spend as much time as we can with them! They need us and we need them.

Everyday after I come home, I look for her straight away, because a home is where mum is right? I want to appreciate her more and just realise how lucky I am because there are so many others out there who don't even have a mum on this day or any other day as well, I can not imagine how that even feels.

So yeah, this is just a short brief post, maybe even like a little thank you, for you mum, I love you, and I am sorry for all those little bickerings we have on and off, but in the end, that is what has made our relationship stronger!
