SMALL SCENT SUPRISES...

Who doesn't love a good scent? Especialy mini cute one's like these! I thought I would try out the 'Secret Scent Box' subscription and this is what I got. I know this is long overdue once again, however I thought I would post it anyways...

So, Secret Scent Box are a UK based only subscription box which allow you to test out different designer fragrances! I thought I would put them to the test as I retrieved a discount code online which only made me pay £3 for this particular box. Originally, they retail for £13 a month, in which you get a 30 day trial of 3 mini sample 3ml fragrances.

At first glance when I opened the box I was pretty disappointed with the sizes. They were tiny, and I was expecting slightly larger samples. But then again, they are designer I guess so you are getting your money's worth.

The scents I received were;

Gucci Flora Glorious Mandarin

This was a very strong scent however, it was my favourite one out of the whole box funnily enough. It had a slight sweet scent to it too, due to it being a flora mandarin I suppose...

Vera Wang Princess

This one was a girly girl sort of scent, but nice and sweet. I liked the original design of the full size bottle however, I feel like its more drawn to younger girls.

Jean Paul Gaultier

I wasn't much of a fan of this one, so I gave it away to my sister who preferred the scent more.

Overall would I recommend this subscription box? Most likely no, as I would rate it 5 out of 10. I think it is each to their own though I guess as different people like different things, I just feel like it wasn't my type and I was slightly disappointed with the amount you get for the money paid each month.

I hope you guys enjoyed this little review. What are your thoughts on this subscription box? Have you or will you be trying it?

  1. I tried this when I first started blogging and it wasn't for me either, even though some of the scents were really nice I didn't feel it was worth the money!
