HOW I STAY ORGANISED & MOTIVATED

Its that time again where many of us are going to start a new academic term. Whether it be at school, college or even university. I love a fresh new start and want to make sure I am organised and on top of things this year. So, I decided to share some of my goals and maybe even tips you guys could use for this year!

WEATHER CHECK

Checking the weather is an essential for me. I need to know what I am going to wear tomorrow. However, with British weather it can be pretty unpredictable sometimes. That's why I always carry a raincoat or umbrella in my bag at all times....

LIST MAKING

Lists, lists, lists! Making any list at all helps to maintain a structure and plan, so you aren't struggling with what to do throughout the day. This can be in a class and lecture brief as well.

KEEPING TRACK

Keeping a diary or academic planner of some sort helps to plan your days ahead. Paperchase have some amazing ones but so do Poundland, if you are on a budget, and they can be just as good and cute looking!

PLAN AHEAD

Gathering up belongings the night before means you aren't in a rush in the morning and don't forget anything. Which books or files will I be needing tomorrow? This way personally, I like to know I have everything beforehand and then I can sleep better too...

BUDGET THE SPENDING

Budgeting is one of the things I struggle with a lot. I tend to get carried away and sound my money from my savings account then forget to repay it back. Anyone else!? So, this time I'm going to keep a budget diary and make sure I only spend what I need on, not what I want.
